One Word~~Sherlock

Fractured

When I see Sherlock, the word that comes into my mind is "fractured." He has so many aspects, so many facets, and when one shows up, it's sharp, sudden, slightly skewed. His soul is all planes and angles. The shards grate against each other at times, like pieces of glass. His mind has a million different faces to it, and each face has a thousand aspects to it, and each aspect has more facets to it. No emotion he displays is the same--his anger has sadness and fierce joy twisted into it; his sadness has a layer of hatred and affection; his happiness has intense terror and deep powerful anger in it. There are so many sides to Sherlock, but not sides as in the smooth, perfectly grafted faces of a cube. They are all rough and sharp and uneven, overlapping and ridged. Like a window that has been shattered, while the frame is there, the inside is fragmented. In this case, the human shape(or frame) is there, but the human mind and soul and heart of Sherlock Holmes is fractured.

It's nearly impossible for me to put into words what I see in my head, but when you watch Sherlock, look at his face and whisper "fractured" and see what comes into your head.
I wanted to explain how I see Sherlock by describing him with one word, and then explaining why that word stands in relation to Sherlock.

Next I will make one for John, Moriarty, Mycroft, Molly, Lestrade, and others.

I honestly can't put what is in my head down here, but I hope I did alright.
